visit to an orphanage

i have always wished to visit an orphanage to know how is the life there,to know the difference in my life and thers.
i visited the salvation army's childrens home in sion, mumbai today with my parents.
we distributed chocolates, chips, bread and jam to the orphanage which houses 75 girls aged 3 to 20.
it was a satisfying experienceing giving each girl a chocolate wit my own hands,it made me feel HAPPY !!(to put it in simple words)
it makes me wonder why does the word "orphan" exist.
i hope with the development of the country this word is erased from the dictionary forever.
i thank GOD for my parents.for all the comforts he has bestowed on me,for all the luxuries and the all my wishes granted.
my parents are the reason for my happy and safe existence.
this small visit made me realise how lucky i am to have them and set my priorities right i.e. to maintain the dignity of my parents thru my actions and respect and love them all my life !!

Hey Nishtha, when we were in school every guy used to admire ur kindness but i personally felt it once.I know you might have forgotten that incidence & even I don't want to recall that rather embarrasing situation in which I got struck & you helped me out buddy.
It feels really great to know that still in this harsh world people like you exist(no, I'm not flattering at all);who have not forgotten the basic human etical values.Keep enlightening the world with your simple yet subtle gestures towards the mankind....
